We knew it was coming yet somehow it got here before we knew it.

Derby is now 3 days away folks! …in case you didn’t notice. And why friends does it seem like Mother Nature is so bent on raining on our parade? Did she have a major tiff with a horse back in her younger days and now takes out her hurt and anger on this most famous of equestrian events? Well get over it MN! We’ve got some dressin’ up to do.

Good thing we’re a city that’s always prepared though right? And as always- Sassy Fox is here to help you adjust to the cooler, wetter temps. You’ll have to stop in to see the many, many options and solutions we have but here’s just a few to remind all you who thought you were ready, set, go that it’s all going to be ok. And you are still going to look fabulous.

First of all- the always easy chic solution to less than ideal seasonal transitions: The Trench. We’ve got quite a few varying in color, budget, style

Save your time and buy the ready-made set. These two shades of pink hang out on very opposite ends of the spectrum but both work perfectly for a chilly Oaks and Derby day. Both Tracy Reese.

These next two dresses are two of my favorites as they’re in perfect Springy shades; they’re comfy and flouncy; and they leave plenty of room for a few mint juleps or Lily’s
