Our own fearless leader (read: Owner of Sassy Fox; read: The Boss) – Jessica – wrote the below recap after attending closing night of Fashion Week this past Saturday. She also took some pictures and we hope you’ll enjoy scrolling through. Stay with us to the bottom for links of more local thoughts and recaps towards this first annual event.

Immediately- I was impressed at the size of this undertaking as a huge tent greeted me on the Great Four Lawn.  After checking in we were ushered to the red carpet for some pictures and then we were off to the bar for a cocktail.  As the night was chilly, I was very glad for all of the portable heaters throughout.  It was great to see so many fashionable people turn out for this event and we had a great time watching the shows.  I was especially impressed with the Frank Olive hat show (as it’s never too early to think Derby in Louisville) and emerging designer Edina Ndebele who was the winner for the evening.  My only complaint for her show was the music.  Lion King anyone? Hopefully this event will be a new Louisville staple and will grow every year. A good time was had by all.
